- Made with old-growth hardwoods
- 3/4″ Oak or Walnut
- Blind dovetail joinery – solid built-to-last box
- Removable tray to hold most used supplies
- Additional storage under tray
- Rifle-holder inserts
- Made by hand, one at a time, in Ashland KY
- Requires 2-3 weeks from order date
Description
The story behind the CarryBox:
This design came out of our ‘Custom’ shop and originated as a special request from a shooter that wanted more than a SpeedBox and less than a full-size Range Box.
They liked the functionality of the Range Box but also wanted something a bit more portable that could be carried to the line with their rifle securely held in place in a cradle. They liked the 22 Range Box for size but it lacked the functionality of the Speedbox. They specified the need for a tray so they could quickly grab their most used pieces (screw drivers, mops, patches, etc.) and they also requested a swing away handle – there when they needed it, out of sight when not required.
We enjoyed the challenge and have produced an interesting box/line box hybrid that is now a part of our regular line up.
