The Tall Mesquite 70-Round Boolit Box is just as described – tall. It’s designed for those longer cartridges (45-90, 45-110) and will hold 70 of your best projectiles in a removable reloading tray. Hand made in Arizona by J&J Wood Products of 100% Mesquite wood.

We managed to secure a few of these ‘gently’ used Mesquite boxes that were originally hand-made by J&J Wood Products in Benson Arizona. Usually not used in fine wood-working, Mesquite wood is ruggedly handsome in its own way with glorious desert charm; Mesquite trees are short, twisted Sonoran desert plants and the resulting lumber reflects the intense hard life they endure.
PLEASE NOT: These boxes all feature the unique aspects of Mesquite and the maker elected to fill in the wood’s natural cracks and voids with a pleasant dark-colored resin, making the wood suitable for box making. These boolit boxes are as unique as the wood they come from.
